A constructor game, raced against the real grid
Build the car.
Beat the people who really did.
Draw a front wing and watch the wind tunnel price it. Sign a driver at the pace they actually set. Race a season on a clock, against a field replayed from a hundred and sixty thousand recorded laps.

Dunmore Motorsport does not exist. Somebody designed it, signed Dunmore Motorsport to drive it, and finished P1 with it.
The full classificationThree decisions deep
Step 1
Build
Draw the wings and the floor and the solver tells you what they are worth, in downforce and in drag. Putting a design on the car costs a wind tunnel run, and you get fewer of those the better you are doing.
Step 2
Sign
Every driver on the grid, priced by the pace they actually set against their own team mate. Verstappen costs what Verstappen is worth, and the wage bill is real money against a real cap.
Step 3
Race
Lodge a plan before the deadline and the race runs at its slot whether or not you are watching. Twenty-two recorded cars, the weather that day, and the engine you have been running six races too long.

Nothing here is a difficulty slider. A driver’s pace is fitted from what they did against their own team mate; a circuit’s corners come from its traced outline; an engine lasts the share of a season its allocation implies, and starts breaking after that.
